Shake off Swimsuit Stress, with Wardrobe Warrior.

It’s that time again, swimsuit season. What? Isn’t that all year round now we have airplane travel readily available but it’s only now you’re worried about it. Fret not; help is at hand there is as I said on my podcast a swimsuit for everyone.

You and JLo, you’re like twins and you both should step away from those oh so cute ruffled shorts, they are the enemy; or so you thought. Wrong. Snap them up as the delicate ruffling on that high leg will camouflage what you think is too large but in fact is a fabulous rear, must lusted after by the opposite sex. See those adjustable sides, pull them up; this adds inches to your leg. Note that both JLo and Demi below have slightly dipped their bikini bottoms lower in the middle, this makes your torso look long and lean.Yes dark colours on your bottom half will slim them down but it’s much more fun to wear something bright and exciting on the top, note the diagonal one shoulder detail on JLo’s top,  this distraction tactic will balance out your figure.

Athletic.

You never hear Cameron Diaz moaning about her lack of curves, she’s too busy surfing, going

out with her gal pals and leaving a trail of exhausted men in her wake. You should  like her be rocking those Avant-garde one pieces with the cut outs clearly made for posing; those string triangle bikinis with the back and halter ties. If you are tall, get to a specialist like Long Tall Sally for one piece but why bother when you can just make a bandeau or halter-top from a scarf and you’re good to go. Follow the lead of fellow athletic figured Demi Moore and have fun.

When you can’t reach something because it’s too high make like Kylie make for the bikinis that demand attention and you shouldn’t be short of help. Grab that bright colour like Halle Berry because you can also rock a statement print, it can lengthen your body. Also note how the contrast belt on Halle’s bikini brief is slanted upwards on one side. This is no accident, this visual trick along with the centre dip tricks the eye into lengthening the torso. High cut bottoms again will lengthen your legs so you can take a break from the heels and giving your feet a holiday too.

So you think your tummy isn’t yummy you can’t rock a two-piece?  Drew Barrymore and

Kim Cattrall agree with Obama, yes we can! Your fantastic breasts need supporting so get an underwired top, you can wear that 50’s starlet halter neck and the high waited pants as with a control panel inside like our Kim and look super stylish. Add a big floppy hat and shades and people will be in awe of your cool classy style. A more modest style is the tankini top which you can add a skirt or jeans to and you can go from beach to bar. Want to be more modest in your one piece, you can still get all the support hidden away in a MiracleSuit or something similar in a bold block colour, mix

it up colour wise like Drew and you will find a lot of options, waiting for you to wear. Now go and strut your hot stuff in them.

Hourglass.

You think you have the hardest body shape as you have large breasts and a large behind. Not according to Beyoncé, she is commanding attention like yourself in her bikini and so should you. She has underwired or a molded cup support in the breast area and high cut briefs. Follow Kim Khardashian’s lead and be brave and step away from the one piece. You have the beach bombshell shape and once you have the supported top area you can wear whatever colours or shapes you like, even a one piece, just make it low cut, the legs slanted high and you will be fabulous.
